FAQ

What to know before applying.

Who is the Seniors 60+ offer for?

A person age 60 or older who wants regular housekeeping at home. A relative may submit the request with their consent.

Is this a home-care service?

No. It does not include medical care, bathing or dressing, medication, transfers or lifting, or transportation.

Will the same cleaner come each time?

Yes, one primary cleaner is assigned. If she is absent, a vetted replacement may be offered or the visit can be moved, subject to availability.

What may cost extra?

Deep cleaning, full window cleaning, appliance interiors, heavily cluttered or unsafe homes and work exceeding the visit are assessed separately.

Does the price deduct the tax credit?

No. The displayed price includes no government deduction. A Quebec resident age 70 or older may qualify for the home-support tax credit depending on their situation. Only eligible service costs may count; supplies do not. Revenu Québec makes the decision.
